The police are actively searching for 20-year-old Yaw Tawiah, also known as Jahboy, who escaped from custody after being arrested for an armed robbery at Sefwi Abrokefe on September 23, 2024.

The escape happened when Constable Alice Owusu Agyemang, the officer on duty, allegedly opened the cell to get water for the suspect and his accomplice to flush their toilet.

Jahboy, who was awaiting trial for charges of conspiracy to rob, robbery, and possession of a firearm, is now on the run, while his accomplice remains in custody.
