A man was brutally beaten by a mob at Kejetia Market in Kumasi after attempting to buy items with counterfeit money. The suspect and an accomplice tried to deceive a trader with fake currency, but the woman quickly realized the deception and raised an alarm. While one suspect managed to escape, the accomplice was caught by an angry crowd and severely beaten. The beating only ended when other traders intervened, pleading on his behalf, and he was eventually allowed to flee.
