In our Senior High Schools, the academic calender is being run by single track schools and transition schools (formerly double track schools). The single track schools have their form 1, form 2 and form 3 students still in school. Both their forms 1 and 2 will complete their 2nd semester on 29th August, 2024._*

By September, all form 3s will finish the WASSCE. However, with the transition schools, their form 1 students are on vacation and are yet to complete their second semester.

The GES letter is thus, meant to tell the transition schools that, their current form 1 students who vacated last week, will report back to school on 27th September, 2024 to complete their 2nd semester on 6th December, 2024.

The date in which the BECE graduates will report is unknown since their papers are yet to be marked. The school selection has not even started let alone placement and admission.
